VA Community Care Chiropractic: How It Works & What We Treat
Veterans: Did You Know Chiropractic Care May Be Covered?
If you’re a Veteran dealing with pain, you may be eligible to receive chiropractic care through the VA at no cost to you when authorized through VA Community Care.
As a VA Community Care Network provider, I’m able to provide chiropractic care to Veterans in the community.
How Do I Get a VA Chiropractic Referral?
Getting started is simple:
Talk to your VA primary care provider about the pain or condition you’re experiencing.
Let them know you’d like to see a chiropractor.
Give them my name and office information and let them know you would like to receive care at Outlive Chiropractic & Wellness.
Your VA provider may recommend imaging or other evaluation before sending the referral.
Once approved, the VA will issue an authorization with a specific number of visits and an expiration date.
Once I receive your referral, I’ll contact you to schedule your first visit.
What Can Chiropractic Care Help With?
I commonly help Veterans with:
Headaches and neck pain
Low back pain and disc herniations
Shoulder, elbow, and hand pain or injuries
Hip, knee, and foot pain or injuries
Chronic and recurring pain
Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic exercise, dry needling, and other techniques based on your individual needs.
